Using the Menu

In Android 2.3.4 platform there are two kinds of menu: Options menus and Context menus

 Options menus contain tools that apply to the activities of the current screen or

application, not to any specific item on the screen. To open Options menus, press

. Not all screens have options menus; if you press menu that has no options

menu, nothing happens. Options menu contain items that apply to the current screen

or to the application as a whole

 Context menus contain tools that apply to a specific item on the screen. To open it,

tap and hold an item on the screen. Not all items have context menus. If you tap and

hold an item that has no context menu, nothing happens

Using the On-Screen Keyboard

User will be able to enter text using the On-Screen Keyboard. Some applications will launch

the keyboard automatically. In others, user needs to touch a text field where user wants to

enter text to launch the keyboard.

Enter Text by Typing

1. Open a text field, in this example we used memorandum to create a note
